Long before modern engineering, our ancestors already understood that certain plants, scents, and smokes naturally discourage insects. Murimi & Anahit Diffusers and Books builds on this shared, cross cultural knowledge of Armenian & Kenyan refined through contemporary design and research, modern engineering and thoughtful refinement.

About Us
Our team of young and experienced engineers started the challenge in 2025 to design a diffuser to discourage wasps and mosquitos without harming them or using chemicals. AI supported our engineers by simulating and comparing design and material options whereas final design decisions, testing and validation were carried out by our engineering team including the use of recycled materials.
Although “Smoke & Scent” as an insect shield, are supported in articles it’s only rarely used nowadays in Middle East and East- Europe. What’s still missing is a refined and safe table-device with a refined ingredient mix that either can be ignited manually or a semi-automatic inginition system. A device designed for hospitality, homes and leisure were insects could be a nuisance to enjoy your outside lunch, diner or drinks.

How much does The Stories Book cost?
The introduction price of the book is Euro 20 (Us$ 25) whereas the diffuser price for the manual ignited version is Euro 39 and the semi-automatic ignited Euro 79. Combination packages are available.
When will The Stories Book be released?
The story books will be released together with the devices that smoulder a mix of ingredients. A kickstarter program will be used beside other media to launch this unique diffuser that shields tables from insects but can also be used as an incense burner at other times.
Are signed copies available?
A limited number of signed copies of the story Books will be available either the Murimi or the Anahit book versions.
